Information we use

When you book, we use your name, telephone number, optional email address and appointment details. Your name, telephone number and appointment choices are required to make a booking; you do not have to provide an email address.

The website also creates limited technical and security records needed to operate the booking service, prevent conflicting bookings and diagnose faults.

Why we use your information

Manage your appointment We use your details to make, confirm and manage your booking. Our lawful basis is contract.
Operate a reliable and secure service We use limited technical information to protect the booking service and diagnose faults. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure and dependable service.
Meet legal requirements We keep or disclose information where required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

Sharing and international transfers

We share information only where needed with providers of website hosting, data storage, technical support, email delivery, security and performance monitoring. We may also disclose it where required by law or for legal claims. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on a UK adequacy regulation or safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. You can ask us for information about the safeguard used.

How long we keep information

A selected appointment time is held for five minutes. We keep other personal information only for as long as needed to manage bookings, operate the service and meet legal, tax or accounting requirements. It is then deleted or anonymised.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • access and correct your personal information;
  • ask for it to be erased or its use restricted;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests; and
  • ask for information you provided to be transferred.
